Chat Rewind

a fast, private reader for WhatsApp exports

Built to open the huge chats other apps choke on — with search, a calendar, day summaries, insights & more. Everything stays on your device.

Drop your export here
the .zip or _chat.txt straight from WhatsApp

Saved on this device

Nothing is uploaded. Messages are read and rendered locally. The optional AI summary is the only feature that sends text off-device — and only when you tap it.
How do I export a chat from WhatsApp?
  1. Open the chat → tap the contact/group name.
  2. Scroll to Export Chat.
  3. Choose Attach Media or Without Media.
  4. Bring that file here — the .zip works directly.
